SILENT VOICE

The servant’s day is blue and white
Still he serves his master right
But there’s more to him than meets the eye
Even as he plead his weak cry
He hides it well, he can’t be weak
Just like that no one dares to ask
But I can tell it is freedom you seek

His own reflection disappoints his eye
His worthlessness reflects away
He has been here before by the way
So why is the ugliness still an awe?
The key is not to mind, he tells himself
But he forgets his chants upon the master’s arrival

Free me master so I can explore the world,
Is there a world really for him to explore?
Two steps further three steps behind
The master can still forgive you if you repent
You are either the master or you are him
You are either the master or you are no one

The servant stays strong,
Who is he to point the master’s wrongs?
There is much to be said, much truth to be hidden,
So many lives to kill so many lives to save,
He hides it all, holds himself still,
His friend can control him against his will
He buries it all into a bottomless pit
Hoping one day it all shall come to light
But the master knows of the unspoken
He places a friendly pat on the shoulder that has been weakened
Still he looks down and laughs his laugh
Just like he always had
Because the servant will always be a zero

My friend, cry a little louder
Plead a little stronger
Your battle is a little tougher.
A rebel you shall become
A master of your own kingdom
So before you are fully eaten
Cry a little louder
So the ears of the deaf can hear of your anger.
